CONTEST RULES FOR: ANSWER THE SURVEY
1. DURATION:
The contest begins on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 and ends at 12:00 midnight on Friday, March 31, 2023, with a single selection of winners on Monday, April 3, 2023, at 1:00 pm. To be known as: "Answer the Poll" (hereinafter Contest). The Official Rules of the contest are posted on Turnos Media, LLC at http://www.turnospr.com/concurso or on the TurnosPR website, where you will be referred to: http: //www.turnospr.com/concurso to view the rules. If you are interested in receiving a copy of the rules of this sweepstakes, which will be posted on a printed sheet at Turnos Media, LLC, send a pre-addressed, postage-paid envelope, beginning Tuesday, January 24, 2023 and no later than Friday, March 31, 2023 to Turnos Media, LLC at the following mailing address: 35 Calle Juan Borbón PMB 233 - Guaynabo, Puerto Rico 00970
2. ELIGIBILITY AND PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS:
(a) Only persons over 21 years of age and legal residents of Puerto Rico are eligible;
(b) That they are registered and have active user accounts on the website http://www.turnospr.com and
(c) To complete a survey, from the participating locations, which will be notified to the participant's mobile number or e-mail once the participant has received the service from the participating locations.
Employees of Turnos Media, LLC and its allies, subsidiaries, sponsors, as well as all their relatives up to the fourth degree of consanguinity will not be eligible,
Active users are those who completed the registration process and accepted the terms and conditions of use of turnospr.com.
The deadline to participate is Friday, March 31, 2023.
3. MANNER OF PARTICIPATION:
A. The contest will consist of answering the service survey of the participating locations, for which you must register and activate your account on the TurnosPR website, which can be accessed through http://www.turnospr.com.
B. Participants must complete the participating sites' service survey to be eligible.
Winners must be residents of Puerto Rico. This will be verified through a driver's license or utility bill.
4. AWARDS:
Prizes will be awarded to:
- People registered in the TurnosPR page,
- People who have registered and have an active user account on the site: http://www.turnospr.com
- Persons who have answered the survey of the participating sites.
- Alternate winners will be drawn for each prize in case the official winner does not claim his/her prize.
Prizes for participants will consist of:
1st Prize - 1 (one) Apple 10.9-inch iPad Air - Latest Model - (5th Generation with Wi-Fi 64 GB - Blue - Valued at $750.00 (seven hundred and fifty dollars) approximately.
2nd Prize - 1 (one) Insignia 55" F30 Series F30 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV - Valued at approximately $450.00 (four hundred and fifty dollars).
Please understand that this is one prize per winner. Prizes will be selected in that order.
Both the Winners and Alternate Winners will be drawn from the list of registered and active TurnosPR.com will be taken from the list of registered and active TurnosPR.com users who have answered the service survey at the participating locations. The first names, last names and e-mail addresses of winners who have answered the service survey at participating locations must match the first name, last name and e-mail address registered at TurnosPR.com.
Other prizes may be added to the sweepstakes and certain restrictions apply.
5. SELECTION OF WINNER:
The Winners and Alternate Winners will be chosen by means of a computerized selection, at random, that will be carried out before a Notary Public, who will certify by means of a Notary Act, on Monday, April 3, 2023, at 1:00 pm, the winners will be notified that same day and will have until Friday, April 14, 2023 at 5:00 pm to claim their prize. Winners will be notified by email and telephone, provided at the time of registration on the TurnosPR website, and will be asked to provide a mailing address to comply with DACO regulations and notify them by certified mail. If the prize is not claimed during the time period provided, Alternate Winners will be notified in the same manner and will have until Wednesday, April 26, 2023, to claim the prize. Contest expires on: Friday, April 28, 2023.
6. CERTIFICATION OF WINNERS:
A Notary will verify and certify that the Winners and Alternate Winners comply with the participation requirements and will draw up a Notarial Act with the information of the drawing. In the event that Winners are unable or unwilling to claim the Prize, Alternate Winners will be called upon to replace such Winners in the same order in which they were selected.
7. PARTICIPATIONS:
Nothing to buy to participate.
(1) Participants must complete the service survey of participating sites to be eligible.
8. RESTRICTIONS:
No Prize may be transferred by Winners to a substitute. The Prize may not be substituted in whole or in part by the Winners or Alternate Winners for any other consideration. Promoter's obligation to Winners, or in the absence of Winners, Alternate Winners, shall cease upon delivery of the Prize, and TurnosPR, and Turnos Media, LLC shall not be liable for, and each entrant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless TurnosPR and Turnos Media, LLC from, any claim or cause of action relating to goods and/or services purchased from third parties with the Prize.
9. PRIZE CLAIM:
Prize Winners will have until Friday, April 14, 2023 to claim the Prize from the Promoter. If requested by the Promoter, Winners will be required to provide a testimonial of eligibility, a liability release and/or a publicity release. If the Winners do not comply with this requirement, their right to receive the Prize will lapse. To receive the Prize, Winners must appear in person at the office indicated.
10. RELIEF AND AUTHORIZATION:
By accepting the Prize, Winners as well as their companion will consent to the use of their name, voice and/or likeness by TurnosPR, Turnos Media, LLC and/or its sponsors for advertising and promotional purposes, including personal appearances, if required, without additional compensation. Winners must provide Turnos Media LLC with the pertinent personal data to proceed with their prizes. The Promoter reserves the right, subject to applicable regulations, to substitute, change or exchange any prize (or part of any prize) to one of comparable or greater value. Each prize will be delivered to the applicable winners free of any encumbrances as of the date of delivery, with the exception of the payment of any income or other taxes of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico or other governmental entities by reason of acceptance of the prize and any other expenses associated with the prize, such as gratuities. By participating in the Contest, participants agree to release, indemnify and save harmless the promoter, and all of its agents, representatives, directors, shareholders and employees (collectively, "Released Parties") from any and all injuries, damages, losses, claims, actions, or liabilities of any kind, arising out of participation in this promotion or the acceptance, possession, use, misuse, or non-use of the Prize or the proceeds thereof. The Released Parties shall not be responsible for printing, typographical, typographical, human or other errors with respect to Contest-related materials, nor shall the Released Parties be responsible for entries that are lost, stolen, misdirected, damaged, incomplete or illegible, or for electronic, computer, telephone or mailing errors or malfunctions. Entrants agree that the Relevant Parties make no warranties regarding, and shall not be responsible for, any services and products obtained or purchased with the proceeds of the Prize.
Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn are disclaimed from any and all liability on the part of each entrant and that the promotion is not sponsored, affiliated with, or endorsed by Meta, Facebook, Instagram and/or LinkedIn.
11. CANCELLATION OF THE CONTEST:
If, in the Promoter's opinion, there is any evidence, suspected or actual, that any aspect of the Contest has been tampered with, or if there has been any improper intent, fraud or technical difficulties or failures, which compromise or corrupt or affect the administration, integrity, security, objectivity or proper conduct of the Contest, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entry submitted fraudulently or to modify, suspend or terminate the Contest (subject to due notice or approval as required), and to conduct the Contest (subject to due notice or approval as required), to disqualify any entry fraudulently submitted or to modify, suspend or terminate the Contest (subject to due notice to or approval, as required, from the Secretary of the Department of Consumer Affairs), and to conduct an additional selection for the Prize from among the eligible entries received to date and for which there is no suspicion.
12. PROMOTION:
The promoter of this contest is Turnos Media LLC. This contest is subject to all applicable federal and state laws. The promoter reserves the right, in the event of causes beyond its control, to cancel or assign a new date for the sweepstakes, including the beginning and/or end of the Contest, subject to the approval of the Secretary of the Department of Consumer Affairs.
